I absolutely loved meeting these cutie cousins and their mommas and grandma! They were all in town at the same time and invited me to their family home. When I drove up, I was in awe! BEEE-UTIFUL! Lush private gardens and a perfectly groomed private open field. Beautiful pool surrounded by bright flowers and the cutest pool house ever. Girls were perfectly dolled up. And their study upstairs looked like it was straight out of Pottery Barn.  I sound like a stalker to go on and on, but seriously, their home was PERFECT!…. except for one teeny-tiny detail…. IT WAS POURING DOWN RAIN and super dark outside!!! We tried to wait it out, and run outside in between patches.  We did what we could, while trying to keep the girls happy and hair-do in tack.

Ohmygosh! I remember thinking “RAIN RAIN GO AWAY!!!! Seriously, this is too pretty to mess up! And they are too cute. COME ON!” But, my begging only got us a few minutes here and there. I suppose I’ll take what I can get. In situations like this, I’ve just learned we all have to relax, be flexible… and just live in the moment 🙂
